Community Outreach Activities
Depression Screenings
Partnering with Central Peninsula Counseling Services, mental health professionals offer free depression screenings twice yearly in the community and by appointment at Central Peninsula Hospital.This activity is funded in part by the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Behavioral Health.
 
Substance Abuse Treatment Services
Central Peninsula Hospital provides targeted treatment services to two distinct populations that were previously identified as un-served or underserved. Adults requiring residential treatment, to address substance abuse, are eligible for care at Serenity House Treatment Center. The Diamond Willow Program serves adolescents at risk for, or returning from, residential treatment settings.
