With a focus towards conservative surgical and non-surgical treatment plans, the clinic sees patients from infants to seniors that require podiatry care for minor injuries, fractures, chronic foot pain, diseases and reconstructive surgery, diabetic limb salvage and wound care. Our goal is to provide local residents with high quality care right here at home, avoiding unnecessary travel and added expense.
We have two dynamic providers to serve your needs:
Dr. Lacy has been a resident of Alaska for over 20 years, living in Soldotna, Anchorage, and Dillingham. She completed a podiatric medicine and surgery residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Her training included nonsurgical and surgical treatment modalities of the foot and ankle. Dr. Lacy is thrilled to call the Peninsula home, and to have the opportunity to provide care to the residents.
Our newest provider, Dr. Joseph Knight, is a highly skilled surgical podiatrist dedicated to providing top-notch foot and ankle treatments. Originally hailing from a small country town in Central Pennsylvania, Dr. Knight brings a rich background and a deep commitment to our community. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho, he pursued his passion for podiatry at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Knight’s commitment to excellence led him to complete a rigorous three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at the esteemed Saint Joseph Regional Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana. During his training, he had the privilege of learning from both orthopedic and podiatric surgeons, acquiring a diverse range of surgical techniques to address all foot and ankle conditions.
The office is located in the River Tower of Central Peninsula Hospital. As you drive onto the hospital campus, proceed directly past the main entrance to the “River Entrance”. This entrance is clearly marked with a large vertical blue sign. Central Peninsula Foot & Ankle Specialist is located on the first floor in Suite 103.
