Central Peninsula Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission. That means that we voluntarily submit to evaluations of our compliance with nationwide hospital standards on a continuing basis. Joint Commission accreditation is your assurance that Central Peninsula Hospital practices continuous quality monitoring to provide you with quality health care.
Ownership
Central Peninsula Hospital is a borough-owned, non-profit facility operated by a corporation, Central Peninsula General Hospital, Inc. (CPGH,Inc.) located in Soldotna, Alaska. The Hospital is administered by CPGH, Inc. and operates through a Lease Agreement with the Kenai Peninsula Borough.
Governance
Public Board meetings are held on the last Thursday of every month at 5:30pm in the Denali Conference Room at Central Peninsula Hospital. The meetings are open to the public.
