Central Peninsula Oncology
Central Peninsula Oncology provides high-quality cancer treatment services at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna for patients on the Kenai Peninsula. When a patient is diagnosed with cancer, an oncologist will manage that person’s care. This includes an explanation of the diagnosis to patients and and their family followed by a discussion with the patient of all possible treatment options and recommendations. Central Peninsula Oncology provides compassionate cancer treatment services for patients with an experienced team in our brand new River Tower on the CPH campus in Soldotna.
The practice is led by Dr. Darren Mullins, MD, who has over twenty years of experience in the treatment and delivery of services for cancer patients. Central Peninsula Oncology is integrated with Central Peninsula Outpatient Oncology Infusion Center. It is belief of Central Peninsula Hospital and Dr. Mullins that the care of patients with cancer is best achieved in an environment close to home where family and friend support is available and where patients are most comfortable. This eliminates the burden of travel for patients and family as they receive care locally and in most cases stay at home close to their support group.
If you have been diagnosed with cancer and live in Kenai, Soldotna, Seward or Homer please give Dr. Mullins a call. We are conveniently located on the third floor of the River Tower at Central Peninsula hospital. Our new facility has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Mullins is currently accepting new patients. Please call our office at (907) 714-5611 to schedule an appointment.
We are recognized by The Joint Commission, an accreditation acknowledged nationwide as a symbol of quality and commitment to meeting certain performance standards.
