CPH Bone & Joint Center has three Joint Commission Certifications:

  • Spine Surgery (May 2023),
  • Joint Replacement – Knee (Recertified March 2024)
  • Joint Replacement – Hip (Recertified March 2024).

The Sleep Lab is accredited through the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). Since 1977, the AASM Standards for Accreditation have been the gold standard by which the medical community and the public evaluate sleep medicine facilities. Achieving AASM accreditation demonstrates a sleep medicine provider’s commitment to high quality, patient-centered care through adherence to these standards, ensuring that the highest quality of care is delivered to patients with sleep disorders.

The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation program at Central Peninsula Hospital is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Founded in 1985, AACVPR is a multidisciplinary organization dedicated to the mission of reducing morbidity, mortality and disability from cardiovascular and pulmonary disease through education, prevention, rehabilitation, research and disease management. American College of Radiology Accredited

 

When you see the gold seal of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation prominently displayed in our Imaging Department our patients can be sure that we’re a facility that meets the highest level of imaging quality and radiation safety.  To achieve the ACR Gold Standard of Accreditation, our facility’s personnel qualifications, equipment requirements, quality assurance and quality control procedures have gone through a rigorous review process to meet specific benchmarks.  It is important for our patients to know that every aspect of the ACR Accreditation process is overseen by board-certified, expert radiologists and medical physicists in advanced diagnostic imaging.  The ACR is the largest and oldest imaging accreditation body in the United States and a professional organization of 34,000 physicians.

Get With the Guidelines:

The Get With the Guidelines – Rural Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Silver for 2024.

The American Heart Association presents the Get With The Guidelines® – Coronary Artery Disease Rural Recognition Silver award for implementation of quality treatment, care coordination for heart attack patients.

The Get With The Guidelines – Coronary Artery Disease Rural Recognition award is earned by hospitals that demonstrate a commitment to treating patients according to the most up-to-date research-based guidelines for STEMI care as outlined by the American Heart Association.

The Get With the Guidelines – Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Referring Bronze.

The American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® – Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Referring Center Bronze recognition for its commitment to offering rapid, research-based care to people experiencing a specific type of heart attack known as an ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), known to be more severe and dangerous than other types of heart attacks.

Recognition as a STEMI Referring Center is designed to showcase hospitals of every size on the front lines of care that do not have 24/7 cardiac catheterization lab availability but work in collaboration with emergency medical services to ensure patients receive guideline-directed STEMI and NSTEMI care.
