Staff:
Erin is an avid adventure-seeker from Soldotna, Alaska. She seeks to balance her time between growing Central Peninsula Hospital’s inpatient setting and exploring the beautiful outdoors surrounding the Kenai Peninsula. Her professional interests include (but are not limited to) neurological, vestibular, and geriatric rehabilitation. For the past eight years, she has volunteered her time on medical mission trips to Kenya. Erin achieved her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Regis University in Colorado, and is a certified Neurological Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Ryan is a licensed physical therapist who works with inpatients at Central Peninsula Hospital. Ryan graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University in Nevada. He has worked in various settings ranging from inpatient rehabilitation to outpatient orthopedics. His professional interests include pain science, neurological rehab, and sports biomechanics.
Ryan enjoys spending time with his family outdoors and playing basketball.
Sarah is a licensed physical therapist who has worked at Central Peninsula Hospital for the past 20 years, primarily in the acute setting. In 2002, she graduated from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. She achieved her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010 from the University of Montana-Missoula. Having focused primarily on school-based pediatrics for the past 20 years, she is the newest member of the Binkley Street Rehabilitation team. She is a certified clinical instructor, ACCE. Sarah is very active in the community, as the founding member of BIK&S, AK (Biking in Kenai and Soldotna), is the president of Kenai Peninsula Peace Crane Garden Trails, and involved member of the Rotary Club of Soldotna.
Laurie graduated with her PT degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She has over 30 years experience in many physical therapy settings from ICU patients at The Methodist Hospital in Houston to traveling the world as the physiotherapist for an international race car team. She enjoys treating patients with all different types of injuries and conditions covering the varied aspects of out-patient physical therapy care. She has a breadth of manual skills and a special interest in helping patients achieve their personal wellness goals through guided self-management and treatment with exercise activities. When she is not in Alaska, she is either working at her own clinic in Houston or treating herself with a long distance hike.

Brittany is a licensed Occupational Therapist with Central Peninsula Rehabilitation. Currently, Brittany is practicing in the hospital in a variety of settings. Brittany graduated with her Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota at Rochester. Brittany has extensive experience with neurodegenerative diseases and their progressions as well as the BEST program for functional movement disorders. Brittany has spent the majority of her training with Mayo Clinic focusing on neuro-rehab care for TBI’s, SCI’s, and orthopedic issues. She further assisted at skilled nursing facilities as able. Brittany enjoys connecting with and challenging her patients to realize their life goals, while having fun at the same time. Brittany believes we are all uniquely made and deserve the time for tailored care and growth. In her free time she enjoys adventuring outdoors, spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, and talking to God J.







Sandra is an Office Specialist for all of the different Central Peninsula Rehabilitation locations. She has worked in the administration side of healthcare for the past 14 years, mostly in medical billing and coding. In November of 2023, Sandra moved to Alaska with her husband and two children. She loves exploring Alaska, fishing, spending time with her family, and watching local sports events. She loves living in Kenai and getting to explore the community and all that the Peninsula has to offer.

Teresa is an office specialist at the Soldotna Rehabilitation Clinic on Binkley St. She was born and raised in Arizona. She worked in the education field for 13 years as a secretary in Arizona. In June of 2023, Teresa moved to Alaska with her husband and son. She loves exploring Alaska, fishing, watching the local wildlife, crafting and spending time with her family.

Julie is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist who works in multiple settings including outpatient, Heritage Place skilled nursing facility and inpatient. Julie graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2004 with her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and then earned her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arizona in 2006. Julie has worked for CPH for over 18 years. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Julie treats patients of all ages ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Julie completed the Washington State Fetal Alcohol Syndrome 4-Digit Diagnostic Code course. Her clinical experience includes: FASD, childhood speech and language disorders, neurological rehabilitation, cognitive-communication disorders, AAC, dysphagia, fluency and voice. During her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with family.

Klaus is a licensed Physical Therapist who has worked for the hospital since 2008 and currently working at the CPGH outpatient therapy clinic Binkley location. Klaus was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, received his bachelor degree from Southern Oregon State College in Ashland Oregon in social sciences and his masters in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico. In between getting his degrees he flew up to Alaska living up here for a while working in the fishing industry and then down to Hawaii for a few years before landing in Albuquerque at the university of New Mexico to work on his physical therapy degree. There he met his eventual wife who was in occupational therapy school and grew up in Ninilchik. Klaus has one stepdaughter who is currently teaching up at Bartlett high and two teenage boys (one of which is adopted). He enjoys most outdoor activities including hiking, biking, ice skating, skiing both downhill and cross country, kayaking, running, soccer, basketball and of course the true Alaskan activities of gardening, hunting, and fishing.

Nita was born and raised in Anchorage and is an office specialist at the Rehabilitation Clinic in Kenai. She has been with Central Peninsula Hospital since 2023. She ventured out to the Pacific North West in the mid 90’s spending 12 years exploring Oregon while attending college and working as a graphic artist digitizing logos and designs for embroidery and screen printing. She spent 16 years in the Northern California area, raising her four children before returning back to her home state of Alaska. She loves the outdoors and enjoys spending her free time fishing, camping, kayaking, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing and photography.



Steven is a licensed Physical Therapist with Central Peninsula Rehabilitation. Steven received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Steven currently works in outpatient therapy at our Kenai Rehabilitation Clinic. He is originally from Utah. He has lived and worked in several states and settings. He has additional training in Vestibular Rehab, Dry Needling, and BSPTS based on Schroth for scoliosis. When he is not working he enjoys spending time with family and exploring Alaska.
Megan Kato is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist who works in the Kenai outpatient therapy clinic. She has been a speech-language pathologist since 2011 and has worked for the hospital since 2012. She is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2008 with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and earned her Masters of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Redlands in 2011. Prior to being hired at CPH, she worked for the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District for 2 years. Her clinical interests include: childhood apraxia of speech, pediatric language disorders, and aphasia. During her spare time, she enjoys yoga, reading, and spending time with her husband and children.
Sarah is a licensed and registered occupational therapist. She graduated with her Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota. Sarah is an advocate for women’s health and has in depth training in pelvic floor therapy for all genders, pregnancy, and post-partum care. She is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and treats patients with swelling, edema, and lymphedema. She has additional experience in a wide range of occupational therapy settings and treatment techniques. Sarah and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, running, gardening, skiing, and camping. She especially loves any activity that involves her Alaska huskies such as canicross and skijoring.

Tobias is a licensed Occupational Therapist, Certified Neuro Specialist (CNS) and Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS). Tobias graduated with an MSOT from American International College and undergrad studies in Community Studies and Sociology. Tobias works for Central Peninsula Rehabilitation as both an inpatient and outpatient Occupational Therapist. Tobias states: my passion centers in community outreach and wellness. I love being an Occupational Therapist as it allows me to meet people where they are and work collaboratively to meet their goals. I’ve been blessed to travel around the country and some parts of the globe. I’ve spent most of my life in cities, like San Francisco and NYC, where I grew up. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, fishing, and Snowsports. Alaska has plenty of nature and beauty to explore. Soldotna is a welcomed change and opportunity. I look forward to being a part of the CPH Rehab Team.
