Sean M. Costello, MD is dedicated to serving the mental health needs of the Alaskan community. He earned his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences with a minor in Psychology at the University of Alaska Anchorage and completed his medical degree through the University of Washington School of Medicine's WWAMI program in Anchorage, focused on the unique needs of Alaska. He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Arizona – Tucson. Dr. Costello brings extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to mood, psychotic, anxiety, and trauma disorders. His clinical interests lie in understanding the interplay between neuroscience, psychology, and the mind-brain connection, informing a holistic approach to patient care.
