Ann has been practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife since April 2009. After graduating with a master’s degree from the University of Illinois, starting as a full-scope CNM/APN in Chicago, Illinois for seven years. Most recently, before moving to Alaska she had been working as a full-scope midwife within Coastal OB/GYN Specialists & Midwifery, a New Hanover Regional Medical Center Physicians group for four years. Ann has also facilitated training Student Nurse Midwives and Family Nurse Practitioners. Ann is passionate about providing obstetrical and gynecological care for women throughout their life span with an emphasis on compassion and equality. Ann will be providing a range of well-woman services including, family planning, Pre-pregnancy counseling, non-surgical birth control methods including IUD contraceptives or Nexplanon, gynecological screening and services, STD/STI screening and treatment, Obstetrical care, and Hospital deliveries. In her time off Ann enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog. She enjoys traveling and being creative with various arts and craft projects. She is an amazing asset to our patients and community.
