Beginning September 17, Central Peninsula Hospital will welcome representatives from the Alaska Department of Health, Division of Public Assistance (DPA) to provide convenient, in-person assistance to our community.

DPA representatives will be available on the third Thursday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Borealis Conference Room (next to the cafeteria).

During these visits, DPA representatives can:

• Answer general questions about public assistance programs
• Assist with applications, renewals, and other paperwork
• Conduct onsite interviews
• Provide case updates
• Meet with clients on a first-come, first-served basis

Because space is limited, individuals are encouraged to arrive early. A sign-up sheet will be available near the Admissions waiting area, before entering the cafeteria.

If you are seeking assistance, please bring any relevant documentation you may have, such as applications or renewal forms, proof of income, proof of expenses, and identification.

These monthly visits are open to patients, visitors, employees, and community members seeking information or assistance with DPA services.
