Pick up your survivor gift bag at welcome reception area near main door.

11:15 a.m.  Welcome and announcements by Bonnie Nichols, breast cancer survivor

11: 20 a.m.  The Heartbeat of Mother Earth Drummers will open the Fair!

11:40 a.m.  Keynote speaker, William (Mike) Patrick sharing his journey with Pancreatic Cancer

12:00 noon – We encourage you to explore the booths – on all three floors

4. Independent Living Center – an aging and disability resource center promoting choice, independence and quality of life for those living with disabilities.

2nd Floor – Refreshment Center on 2nd floor Mezzanine

“The Goods” is providing a grazing charcuterie board to enjoy in this area and The Pony Keg is serving healthy mocktails.  There will also be coffee, tea and water available.

1:00 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. in Kasilof Conference Room – Seated Chair Yoga with Laurie Schaeffer, RN, Certified International Association Yoga Therapist.  Brief seated chair yoga exploration of breath and movement practices to support your immune system, reduce stress/anxiety/fatigue and improve sleep.

2:00 p.m. to 2:20 p.m. in Kasilof Conference Room – Yoga Nidra also with Laurie Schaeffer, RN.    Experience a seated variation of guided meditation/relaxation so you may identify, feel and relax each part of your being – body, breath, mind, wisdom, and resting in the self.

1. Karlene’s Acupuncture – Learn how to energy test foods/supplements.  Discover how Chinese herbs and supplements can be beneficial in cancer care.  (Basket Drawing)

2. Kenai Peninsula Food Bank and Kenai Local Food Connection – pick up a cookbook from The American College of Lifestyle Medicine titled, “Plant Based Cooking on a Budget”. Learn how the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank can support recovery and healing.

3. Healing Touch, ‘M’ Technique demos and information about classes.
