Welcome to Central Peninsula Hospital!

We are a community-owned non-profit organization located in the heart of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, dedicated to offering the best in patient/resident-centered care in a healing environment.  CPH is the first Planetree affiliated hospital in Alaska, with an approach to wellness that includes all aspects of healing - mental, emotional, spiritual, social and physical. We provide the largest number of services of any hospital on the Kenai Peninsula, and are continuously ranked as one of Alaska's Top 100 Employers.

For nearly 38 years, Central Peninsula Hospital has taken very seriously its responsibility to provide programs and services that improve the health of the communities we serve.  We opened our doors in 1971 as a modest, community-initiated facility with 8,000 square feet served by three pioneer physicians.  Thirty-six years later, we have matured into a state-of-the-art facility with more than 680 employees and over 85 physicians and 28 allied health providers.  We also expanded our clinical services to six additional off-campus locations, including: Central Peninsula Family Practice, Heritage Place, Kenai Health Clinic, Serenity House Treatment Center, and Soldotna and Kenai Physical Medicine Clinics - to provide quality, caring medical services for our 35,000 plus residents.
