When you arrive for your first visit, you will be greeted and asked to complete paperwork. A medical assistant may check your height, weight and blood pressure and ask about the reason for your visit. Your provider will review your medical history and your current medications and discuss the reason for your visit. Your surgeon will partner with you to create an individualized plan of care that best suits your unique needs.

We understand you have choices and are grateful you have chosen to have your imaging studies completed with us. Your images will be interpreted by a board certified radiologist who is familiar with the equipment that will be used for your scans.

What to Expect 

When we welcome you for your first visit, you will be asked to complete paper work. Your current medications and medical history will be reviewed and you will receive an in-depth neurologic exam. We will conduct further diagnostic testing, such as an EMG or EEG, if needed. 

The provider will explain possible procedures and treatments. Together, we will determine the best treatment plan for you. 

You will return for follow-up appointments to monitor your progress and adjust medications as needed.

A nurse or medical assistant may check your height, weight and blood pressure and ask about the reason for your visit. The doctor will review your medical history and your current medications and discuss how you are feeling before performing a medical exam. Your doctor will partner with you to create an individualized plan of care that best suits your unique needs.

During a pediatric visit, parents can expect that their children will be treated with warmth and understanding. We recognize that nobody knows your child better than you. Our physicians will partner with you to determine the best care for your child.

In most cases, you will have an initial consultation with either Dr. Lacy or Dr. Knight to determine a diagnosis and course of treatment. During this visit, your podiatrist will review your previous medical records, test results and/or X-rays. Additional tests may be ordered if needed. If surgery or a minor procedure is required, they will explain the procedure to you and answer any questions you may have. You will be provided with pre-surgery instructions, and our friendly staff will assist you in scheduling your procedure.

If surgery is required, prior to your surgery, Dr. Lacy or Dr. Knight will stop in to say hello and answer any last-minute questions you may have. They will also check on you after your surgery. A follow-up visit may be scheduled.

Once you are discharged from the hospital, you will be under your primary physician’s care. However, our involvement doesn’t end there — our registered nurse will call to see how you are doing and act as a liaison between your doctor and the hospital.

Next, we will perform a physical exam, view your X-rays, and discuss a treatment plan that takes into account your individual needs and preferences.
