Jessica Lazar, MD grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon. She returned home to Alaska to work for The Alaska Center and Moose’s Tooth for a few years before deciding to return to school to pursue a career in Family Medicine. She attended University of Washington School of Medicine and completed Family Medicine Residency at Sea Mar Community Health Center in Marysville, Washington. She is excited to be moving back to Alaska and settle on the Kenai Peninsula, where she has enjoyed visiting since childhood. She is happy to now call the Kenai Peninsula her home! When she is not with patients she enjoys spending time with her husband and son and enjoying the outdoors through hiking, fishing, skiing, kayaking, and gardening.
