What is Minimally Invasive Foot Surgery?
Minimally invasive foot surgery is accomplished with surgical instruments and tools that are engineered for use through very small (minimal) incisions. To give you an idea of how small, the incision is not much bigger than the width of a pencil lead. The incision only needs to be large enough for the tool below to be used (approximately 3mm).
