Central Peninsula Hospital (CPH) has named Shaun Keef as the organizations new Chief Financial Officer. Keef has served as the Executive Director and Director of Finance for Peninsula Community Health Services of Alaska, a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center, since October of 2011, and will begin his career with CPH beginning on April 20, 2012.
Keef received two Bachelors of Science degrees in Business Administration, majoring in both Accounting and Finance from Oklahoma State University. He has also completed all of his pre-medicine requirements. He is currently pursuing his MBA through the online program at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, MI. He is a CPA Candidate, eligible to sit for the CPA exam, which he plans to successfully complete by September of 2012. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), National Society of Leadership and the American Institute of CPA’s.
Keef has more than 17 years working as either a CFO or CEO for organizations in Kansas, Oklahoma and Alaska. His past experience has been focused on turning around ailing hospital systems in rural Kansas and Alaska. Shaun and his wife Nicole have three children, Morgan, 15, Kyler, 11, and Dalanie 4.
