Open Admissions Policy
It is the policy of Central Peninsula Hospital, Soldotna, Alaska, to admit and treat all persons without regard to race, color, sex, handicap, national origin or religious creed. Admission requirements and assignments of hospital facilities are the same for all persons. There are no distinctions in eligibility for receiving any patient care services. Hospital facilities are available to all patients and visitors. Individuals and organizations having occasion to refer patients for admission or recommend Central Peninsula Hospital are advised to do so within the hospital's policy to provide quality healthcare to all persons.

Your Admission/Registration
The admissions area is located in the Mountain Tower main lobby of the hospital, with an additional offices located in the Emergency Department. Patients or their immediate family members are requested to provide insurance and demographic information concerning hospitalization at the admission area.
If you have a pre-scheduled appointment for Outpatient Services it is important that you arrive on time, because your physician may have scheduled special tests for you (i.e., blood, x-rays, etc.) You will be asked to sign a consent form for services at the hospital and for billing and assignment of benefits. An identification bracelet for your wrist will also be prepared. You will be directed to the appropriate department of the hospital for your services. If presenting to the Emergency Department, you will be assessed immediately upon your arrival for your particular medical needs.
