March 7, 2011, Soldotna, AK. – At the January 27th meeting, The CPGH, Inc. Board of Directors welcomed new members, Dr. Henry Krull and Mike Navarre, who were appointed to fill the seats of Dr. John Bramante and Tom Boedeker as of January 1, 2011.
Dr. Henry Krull is an Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing at Kenai Peninsula Orthopaedics and served as the former chief of the medical staff at Central Peninsula Hospital. Mike Navarre is a lifelong Kenai Peninsula resident with roots in business and public service. He is a former state legislator and Kenai Peninsula Borough mayor and was instrumental in growing the family ARBY’s franchise, Radio Shack dealerships and property management business.
At the same meeting, Jason Paret, CFO shared that Central Peninsula Hospital has seen an 11.2 % increase in gross patient revenues in the past six months and continues to endeavor to operate the medical facilities on a self-supporting basis.
Our physician recruitment efforts continue to produce quality candidates. Soon CPH will welcome:
•Dr. Jason Lattin, a board-certified General Surgeon skilled in vascular and thoracic surgery. Dr. Lattin’s anticipated start date is April 1, 2011.
•Dr. Craig Humphreys, a board-certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon. Dr. Humphreys will be joining Kenai Peninsula Orthopaedics and is anticipated to begin practice July of this year.
•Dr.’s Hillary and Carl Seger. Dr. Hillary Seger is a former Skyview High School graduate who is an OB/GYN specialist and her husband Carl is an Emergency Medicine physician. Their anticipated start dates will be early July.
