Special Dine and Discuss February 22nd

Joe Piscatella has been asked by more than 1000 hospitals to speak in their communities about improving community health and now this engaging and informative speaker is coming to the Kenai Peninsula.

Central Peninsula Hospital’s Healthy Lifestyles Program is presenting a special Dine and  Discuss, February 22nd, with Joe Piscatella called, “Living Healthy in a Doubleburger.com World.”   The Healthy Lifestyles program at Central Peninsula Hospital is designed to provide the community with education, support and guidance in the areas of weight management and physical activity among other healthy lifestyle focus areas.

Piscatella is a nationally recognized expert on lifestyle habits and cardiovascular health.  The author of 10 books, host of three PBS television specials, a consultant to Fortune 500 companies and a post-bypass surgery patient, his mix of science and practical application is appreciated by communities nationwide.  He is frequently the highest-rated speaker at many corporations for his witty, eloquent, layman’s language approach to complex health topics. He uses humor and an upbeat presentation style to examine healthy eating, effective exercise, stress management and provide a lot of motivation!

Due to the expected turnout for this event, Dine and Discuss will be moved from its normal location at Paradisos Restaurant, to the Aurora Borealis Room at the Challenger Learning Center.  The time is from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on February 22nd.  Instead of the usual full meal and $10 fee, there will be light refreshments, beverages and a minimal $5 charge.

Please plan to attend for wellness information, healthy motivation or just for entertainment.
