General Information
The hospital-based Physical Medicine Department provides a wide variety of services and programs to meet the needs of our inpatient clients providing comprehensive Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Healthy Lifestyles - walking and exercise programs, Speech Therapy, Diabetes Education and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Hospital-based outpatient services include Speech Therapy, Massage Therapy and Cardiac Rehab.
Cardiac Rehab at the hospital includes inpatient care and outpatient monitored and non-monitored exercise classes and educational sessions, Phase I, II and III.

With reduced hours on the weekend for inpatient PT, OT, and SLP

Billing and Insurance
Our programs are physician-prescribed and medically supervised. Most insurance companies reimburse for a significant amount of the cost. For specific coverage information, please contact your insurance company. Central Peninsula General Hospital will bill your insurance company for you. If you do not have insurance, you will be billed directly.
