The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Central Peninsula General Hospital (CPGH) is committed to providing the highest quality inpatient and outpatient clinical imaging services on the Peninsula, comparable to that available at any major medical center.  We offer state-of-the-art imaging in a personalized and healing environment that allows you to stay in your community and still receive quality medical care.

Our quality diagnostic equipment gives us the best digital imaging available. That means we have the capability to digitally manipulate your images for more accurate results. Soon, we’ll be able to provide consulting physicians a view of your images without the need to carry films to their offices.

If you are or suspect you are pregnant, please notify the technologist.  Some procedures use a small amount of radiation, which has the potential to be harmful to your pregnancy.

The department provides the following imaging services:

Computerized Axial Tomography (CT)
Diagnostic Ultrasound

Radiographic and Fluoroscopic services (X-Ray)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Nuclear Medicine
Mammography

The Kenai Health Center (a subsidiary of CPGH) provides these limited Imaging Services:

Diagnostic Radiographic Services (X-Ray)
Bone Mineral Densitometry
Mammography
Laboratory Draw Services

Staff
Radiologists with advanced training in the interpretation of diagnostic studies staff the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
