Central Peninsula General Hospital
(CPGH), Inc., the 501(C)(3) nonprofit corporation
which leases and operates CPH and serves as the
hospital’s Board of Directors (BOD), announces that
there is a vacancy on the Board and requests
applicants
to
complete this application.
CPGH, Inc./BOD is legally responsible
and accountable for the hospital’s finances, quality
of services, and compliance with all applicable
federal and state rules, regulations, and statutes.
Key Board activities include selecting and
evaluating the Chief Executive Officer (CEO),
setting overall policies and direction for the
operation of the hospital, strategic planning,
reviewing and approving annual operating and capital
budgets, monitoring implementation of various
activities and initiatives, and credentialing
physicians.
Any resident of the Central Kenai
Peninsula Hospital Service Area, who is at least 19
years of age, is eligible to apply for Board
membership. (Except Hospital Employees) Key factors on which applicants are
evaluated include range and type of job experience,
time availability and analytical, interpersonal, and
communication skills.

November 2, 2007. Any application
received after that will be not considered and will
be returned. Applicants will be interviewed by a
committee of BOD members during August and this
committee will make recommendations to the full
Board.
